Lenten Jubilee Year Retreat Join members of the Adult Faith Formation Committee this Lent in exploring the depths of Pope Francis' Year of Jubilee 2025 theme, Pilgrims of Hope. Over several Wednesday evenings in Lent we will delve into Pope Francis' theology and spirituality of hope, as well identify how hope can energize and sustain activism for us today. The dates of the remaining sessions are March 26th, and April 9th. All sessions start at 7:15 p.m. in Brunsman Hall. Refreshments will be served. The topics for each session are:
March 12th: "To hope is to begin again." Pope Francis. What is a year of Jubilee? What does it mean to be a pilgrim of hope? March 26th: "To hope is to turn around." Pope Francis. How does hope touch our lives and call us to act? Why is Hope so important? April 9th: "Hope does not disappoint." Pope Francis. How is hope the foundation of making the world a better place for all? How does hope sustain activism (and why do we need to be activists)?
