Volunteers needed to wash the Altar Linens for St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Time commitment is only 1.5-2 hours once a month. It involves picking up used altar linens after Mass on your assigned Sunday; washing the linens in a manner that is respectful of their having been in contact with the Body and Blood of Christ and then ironing the purificators and corporals. Then return them to the sacristy the following Sunday at your convenience. Brief training session will be held early in December. Please email Karen Dietzen at [email protected] with your interest.
