Ministry members help parishioners and their families select appropriate scriptural readings, prayers and music that have special significance for them. During this challenging time, they also arrange for musicians and vocalists, work with funeral homes and cemeteries, and provide support to the family and friends of those who have died. Grief Support
Our St. Francis grief support program,
“Grief, Gratitude & Grace”, is a The series provides an opportunity for those who have experienced the death of a loved one to join with others in a loving, healing environment to share their stories and experience. Each evening also includes information on coping with grief, the tasks and characteristics of grief, reading lists, ritual, and prayer. Healing Prayer

Coping with the death of a loved one is one of the hardest things we have to do in life.
Healing prayer ministers are available to pray for and with you at the doors of our church after all Masses.
They may be identified by their badges.
Members of our Communion Visitation Ministry are available to bring Communion to those who are homebound.
